Christopher Craven of Garnerville, NY and Claydon, England died on Thursday, July 1, 1999. Chris was born on June 15, 1949 in Suffern, NY. He lived abroad for the last 27 years. He graduated from Albertus Magnus High School in 1967 and served in the United States Air Force. Chris is survived by his two children, Sarah of Nyack and Michael of Ipswich, England; mother, Dolores of Garnerville and brother, Paul of Charlotte, VT. He possessed a quick wit, added a dimension of fun and camaraderie to every gathering in which he was present, and leaves in the hearts of his family and friends warm memories of many smiles and carefree laughter. His reflective side touched people in subtle but enduring ways. The calm resolve with which he faced his final illness provided strength and inspiration to all those close to him.
